Postgraduate & Masters Programs in Australia and New Zealand

At postgraduate level, the awards offered by Australian and New Zealand universities are: Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Masters Degree & Doctorate.

Graduate Certificates & Graduate Diplomas are usually 1 semester to 2 semesters in duration and allow students to continue their studies or develop their research skills.

The Graduate Certificates & Graduate Diplomas are also options for students who already have a Bachelor degree and want to change their area of specialization in order to obtain a Master degree

Subjects and Classes

The number of class hours ranges from 12 to 15 hours per week, depending on the program, and between 20 and 25 for personal study.

A full time course load is 4-5 subjects per semester and assessment is generally continuous (individual assignments, presentations, real life case studies, group work and an exam at the end of the study period.
